  For 25 years I've been a LensCrafters customer. NO MORE. The whole category is a rip-off, but LC is the worst. Old worn-out model. Getting very sloppy with quality. Tired of the phony 50% off sales. Discount only when you buy new frames. No discount to get new prescription in current frames. And fyi - those $145 frames cost them $10-12. Try Warby Parker. A whole new concept. My daughter has been using them for 3-4 years by mail! Perfect every time. Long story short - I got glasses, sunglasses, better protection, better warranty for $20 more than 1 pair at LensCrafters.

  After eight visits (Sept -Nov 2017), my eyes are damaged - I am hoping to see a recovery but have not "seen" it yet. The lens and eyeglasses Rx's and are not right, unless it's the damage. I had to spend more money than necessary. I got an eye infection (from ill-fitting lenses that I was asked to give a chance, medication, without asking me about allergies, an allergic reaction to the medication, very little concern about what was happening through all these visits (they just let me leave - couldn't help). Lights bother me, my eyes itch... The excuses I was given? - it was my age, I'm now allergic to lenses I was wearing...It couldn't be the lenses the 1st doctor stuck into my eyes and tapped on - Without Gloves,or the wrong medication, or the fact that I was not given dailies while I had the infection. I saw three doctors in total at LensCrafters. I went to an ophthalmologist (not affiliated) afterwards. Worst experience ever - Never again.
